Most K. Amani jewellery is manufactured to order. Typically this takes 6-12 weeks from the time a design is agreed upon (or an order is directly placed from the website) for manufacturing and shipping. During busy periods (Christmas or Valentine’s Day) these timeframes may need to be extended. If this is the case we will endeavour to communicate timeframes with you prior to commencement of manufacturing. It is a good idea to order your jewellery well in advance of those big holidays.

What if I don’t like my purchase or change my mind?

If for whatever reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, K. Amani Fine Jeweller will endeavour to fix the problem. However, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind. As all our products are made to order, the standard returns policy does not apply. These are not mass produced items: they are made specifically just for you to your specifications. For the same reasons as above, we are unable to refund deposits on custom-designed jewellery orders, repairs, or remodeling. K. Amani Fine Jeweller may offer a repair, replacement, or store credit at our discretion.

What if my jewellery arrives and is faulty or defective?

K. Amani Fine Jeweller stands by the quality and workmanship of our products. All jewellery is quality checked prior to shipping. In accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act we will repair if your product is faulty or not as described. Please note: if your product is faulty or not as described you must inform K. Amani via email or phone within 7 days of receipt of item and send back to us within 30 days for remedial action to be completed.
Is there a warranty on your jewellery?

All jewellery purchased from K. Amani is protected by a 365-day worldwide back-to-base warranty against defective workmanship. Please note your warranty will be invalid if:

  1. a jeweller who is not affiliated with K. Amani Fine Jeweller works on the piece (this includes resizing, as this can loosen stone settings; we will do this for you if you want to keep your warranty intact)
  2. you somehow damage the jewellery (i.e.: knock a ring which loosens the setting of the stone(s), causing you to lose the stone or damage the stone. Gemstones are typically quite resilient but by their intrinsic nature some types of stones can chip or crack easily, especially emeralds and tanzanites)

Additionally, K. Amani offers free lifetime cleaning of jewellery purchased from us, as well as free yearly inspections of your jewellery to minimize any risk of damage due to wear and tear. In order to take advantage of free cleaning and inspections, you must deliver your jewellery to our storefront in the Queen’s Arcade in Auckland.

What if my jewellery arrives damaged?

As our products are quality checked prior to shipping, we can be fairly certain that damage has not occured at our site. If your jewellery is damaged during shipping/transit please inform K. Amani via email at [email protected] within 48 hours of receiving the damaged goods. Please include a photo of the damage. We will contact you back within one business day and include instructions for how to proceed, including sending the product back to us for replacement (your shipping cost will be refunded). For this reason it is often a good idea to open your package whilst the delivery person is still at your door (if at all possible) and report to him immediately if damage has occurred. If damage has occurred during shipping, K. Amani Fine Jeweller will replace or repair the damaged item at no additional cost to you.
